Farnoosh Brock transitioned from corporate life to cultivating a truly uncommon life. In this show we will discuss Farnoosh’s journey:
- Stumbled into blogging and used it as an outlet about topics related to personal development
- 2009 moved from Blogger to her own site
- 2010 trip to BlogWorld was a turning point because she met so many others where doing it full time.
- Returned home and started hustling; building her list, making products.
- 2011 she was put on a project that she didn’t want to be a part of and asked to be taken off. They said no and one month later she resigned.
- Quitting is not starting over. It’s taking the lessons and using them in the future.
- Her blog gave her permission.
- She started to see herself as one of them (an entrepreneur)
- She felt held back for a long time and if she wasn’t going to quit her dreams were going to die
- So much of the corporate world is spent doing busy work but not work that really solves any problems
- People forget they even have potential
- I have no business writing books but it fits me very well
- I am in love with my failures
- Fear of failure is a complete waste of time
- Whenever there is failure there is discovery and learning
